AlertVU test scheduled for Mar. 16
AlertVU sends emergency messages in the event of an imminent threat or danger to the òòò½Ö±²¥ community, such as a tornado forecasted to strike òòò½Ö±²¥ or an active shooter on campus.
AlertVU rapidly sends messages to the delivery points in its database. Cell phone numbers provided by students to the university are automatically enrolled in the AlertVU database. Additionally, all òòò½Ö±²¥ students, faculty and staff are automatically enrolled in the system using their òòò½Ö±²¥ email address.
All persons are encouraged to update their emergency contact information at least annually, or as needed. To update your contact information, proceed to the  and choose the designated portal.
Students will be directed to the YES system. Once you’ve logged in, access and update your personal contact information, then check the appropriate box to either receive or opt-out of the AlertVU messages.
